Exhibition text: This artwork is a prototype or product that I designed in order to solve an issue related to pets. This product is meant to be a dimming cage meaning that all the windows can change its brightness and get dark or normal. This product is meant to solve having loud big birds from screaming. Some of the time when birds see light (house lights/light bulbs) they scream very loudly and don't stop. This product was mainly inspired by the companies Custom Cages and Innovative Glass Corporation. The function of both products inspired me to merge them together and create one whole product. The way the other cages were made and the kind of look they gave inspired me to make it the same way. The function and look of the windows inspired me to add that into my product to solve the issue. The materials that I used to create this were green floral foam, acrylic paint, wood sticks, clear plastic, tape, and hot glue.
